Davon was established over twenty-five years ago and is a privately owned property finance organisation which specialises in structuring all forms of funding for property projects.
While the focus of the business has primarily been the funding of residential development, over the years funding has also been structured for a wider range of property based schemes including investment, leisure, student and tourism projects.
At the core of Davon’s business is a thorough understanding and appreciation of the property industry and development. This allows each project to be assessed and the most appropriate funding structure to be created to suit the individual scheme.
The company has developed three key areas of operation being:
Structuring of finance for client companies. In this capacity the company works with a wide range of third party banks, lenders and investors with whom strong relationships have been built over many years. This range of contacts allows all forms of funding to be arranged for clients to include senior debt, mezzanine, equity and joint venture structures.
The principals of Davon realised the need to create an element to the business that could provide mezzanine finance for residential development as principal lender. As a result Strata was conceived and created in conjunction with evolve Fund Services and has built an enviable position for itself within the industry as an established provider of mezzanine for experienced developers and strong projects throughout the south of England
Through this vehicle, Davon is able to provide funding as principal lender to projects that fall outside the lending criteria of Strata, generally by means of provision of smaller mezzanine loans. Through this vehicle Davon often co-invests with selected private investors who appreciate the full risk analysis, due diligence and loan management services provided by the company.
Through all its areas of operation, Davon prides itself on providing a professional service to all its clients and borrowers, many of whom have become repeat clients and for whom Davon has acted on many projects.
Likewise, the initial due diligence and analysis undertaken on schemes regardless of whether the project is being lent on by Davon or being brokered to third party is the same. This approach has allowed a strength of relationship and respect to be built over many years with lenders and investors which in turn benefits all aspects of the business today.
The company continues to build upon the existing areas of operation and continue to expand the avenues through which it can generate value from its position in marketplace, very strong established client base and ability to generate and handle deal flow and direct lending services.
“I have been pleased to have known Davon for many years and I can say with absolute confidence that If you want a solution to your funding requirements for your next development project, Davon is the place to go.”
